Wadeley Racing is gearing up for Round 2 of the RMC South African Kart Championships, which will take place on Friday and Saturday at the Formula K Kart Circuit in Benoni.
After an eventful Round 1 at iDube Raceway in KZN, the team is hoping to build on their momentum and secure some strong results in this weekend’s races. Matthew and Jordon are two drivers and they certainly have what it takes to compete at the front of each of their classes if their recent regional form is anything to go by.
In the Junior Max class, watch out for Wadeley Racing’s young star driver Jordon, who showed impressive pace and racecraft in the opening round. He’ll be looking to continue his strong form and challenge for a podium finish this weekend.
In the Senior Max class, Matthew will be aiming to build on the solid points haul from Round 1 and compete for a top 5 finish. He will face stiff competition from some of the top chain-driven drivers in the country in what is probably the most competitive national class in the country right now, but with his skill and determination, you can be sure he is up for the challenge.
Overall, the boys are feeling confident and excited about this weekend’s races. With their focus on speed, dedication, and passion for the sport, they’re ready to take on the competition and come out on top so be sure to tune into the live stream and watch the action unfold.
Finally, this weekend marks an emotional return to Benoni for the team, as it will be their first national race since the passing of their biggest fan, Leigh Wadeley. Brad, Matthew, Jordon and their sister Rebecca, who have all travelled to Benoni this weekend, would all like to thank the entire South African karting community for their love and support during this difficult time. As they gear up for Round 2 of the RMC South African Kart Championships, Brad and the boys will be aiming to achieve great things this weekend and continue to make her proud.
